Please pardon the image quality .
This image is shot on my mobile phone ad-hoc while I was enjoying a small snack of oranges ($0.20 per 100g at Giant).
Please be gentle as I am a newbie! Thanks in advance to all sifu, sempais, and fellow clubsnappers for your cons
1. in what area is critique to be sought?tructive critique :)

1. in what area is critique to be sought?
Composition and layout, tones. Please do not critique on image quality (noise), or sharpness as it is not so controllable (at my skill level) on a mobile phone camera.

2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
Conceptual work of peeling a mandarin orange (which is usually functional and insignificant compared to the joy of enjoying the fruit itself)

3. under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
4pm natural light on PnS (mobile phone camera) , with some fill off LED flash.

4. what the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture

I hope that my short, adhoc work is as visually appealing the viewer, as it was delicious to my mouth.

Thanks again for C&C

humbly
Shizuma

The composition concept is good, since the title is "undressing the orange", like your presentation is to undressing the orange in ascending order but more in consistent way like taking a picture at each step and place the orange skins next to it .

Wow... Interesting concept! Have you tried different angles as well? I think it works in this composition, though I will also try the angle from the front, showing the various "states of undress" each slightly behind and to the side of the orange in front. Bokehhhhhh. :bsmilie:

Thanks for sharing! Very very delicious looking. :)
