I called MSC to see if I can squeeze a better price if I got both sets.
Too bad some over enthusiastic Pentaxian told them this is considered 'super good price' so they were unwilling to budge..
Pls lah, guys... we should always tell seller their price no good to keep them on their feet

Haha...from $2199 to $17xx to now $1580 still not low enough har?....well i guess only for expose show till sunday and i heard not alot of k5iis in the market yet...after the show maybe will back to normal 17xx...i just bought mine at 17xx...

$1580 for new release is very competitive indeed. I think I wasn't an early adopter of K5 and paid around that price?

Btw, for taking BB indoor in our home flourescent light, no external flash... what is a good setting to use, if using Av mode??

Just got it at 1558. Try TKfoto. Comes with a 8GB CL4 SDcard (which I don't really fancy).
If I didn't see wrongly, TKFoto sells both KIIS and KII at same price. Some comes with either 18-55mm or the 18-135mm lens.

K5 II + 18-55mm at $1588,
same as K5 IIs Body $1588.
K5 II body at $1478, but I think nobody would buy lah.
