I was amazed too, at how this capable camera plunged in price. Can't believe it is so cheap now. It was in the $1,600 range and deservingly so!

i'm still camping for a good price for d7000 leh~ LOL~

second hand prices don't react to price drops that quickly, many sellers don't monitor retail price like stock market...so u need to be patient.

but as I always believe, if u need the capabilities of d7000 to shoot now, then just get brand new if nothing comes along on the second hand market. at least u will not live to regret.

yes they are genuine.. same as local set just that it don't have local nikon warranty, only shop warranty.

but you can still send it in to nikon if there is any problem. but need to pay..

I sold mine at $1050 last week, and not many interested parties too. I am thinking those that sell above this price will have hard time selling. I thought I was already very lucky to be able to offload at that price

yup that's why I'm still waiting..... so far even for D5000 they quoted me $500... $870 for D5100 (body only) even though it's just less than a month old...
