1. In what area is critique to be sought?
Any form of critique & comment is welcome.

2. What one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
To improve my night scene photography skill, by getting the comment from the expert.

3. Under what circumstance is the picture taken?(physical conditions/emotions)?
Taken around 7.45pm with D800 16-35mm lens with tripod and remote, ISO100 16mm F16 30sec.

4. What the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture?
I think the sky have too much of cloud, too little blue sky, and those white wording at the top of the building is totally blur, any suggestion to improve on that.
Thanks everyone in advance.

Nice HDR! Good work!

Thank, forgotten to mention is HDR

I like the colours! Pity a bit too cloudy heh...

I think the words are blur because at higher exposure they are blown... not sure if the 'ghosting' removal will help, if not may need to manually blend in the words from the underexposed ones

i look at all 4 picture i took , the cloud almost the same, so i got no idea how manually blend can help. Thank for pointing out the method.

Looks like a decent attempt.

The reason why the building signages were cled out is because they are too bright(relative to the ambient lighting). The solution is to take the photo sometime earlier in the evening when you have brighter ambient light to even out the exposure.

Its not that obvious but the vertical lines are converging. That can be corrected quite easily.

The trees look very 2D-ish.....

infect my picture always look very 2D, good that u point out , remind me ha ha.

Sharp eye u have , i use lightroom to measure also cannot tell. Good suggestion for enlighten me to take the picture earlier. Thanks.

i am not sure that the colours are working to your advantage here in this photo. i think this shot could also work in b&w, possibly resulting in a less flat-looking image once the forms and textures are accentuated.

Changing the picture to b&w give the image a new look , totally refreshing and more interesting look, but I have to chance my title to b&w.

Overall, it looks great for night shoot. However, the composition looks a little imbalance as it has a few focus points than one, which will make it a greater shot.

The main focus of the picture is to shown marina bay at night as colourful as possible, thank for pointing your view.

how to do take the 4 shots at night? Manual mode + AEB + Tripod? or is it better to adjust shutter+aperture to get the desired EV for each shot everytime ?

Thanks !

The four shot I took is manual mode with tripod and remote shutter release , the only thing that I adjust is shutter speed , I will not adjust aperture , thanks for dropping by.
