Android (Tab/Phone) User... Help needed.

Hi... anyone using Singtel Mobile Broadband on Android Devices getting strange pop-up while surfacing Internet on either Dolphin or Opera browser ?? I thought I kena some virus but it seems my friend is suffering the same thing... it happens when I'm in Facebook or VR-Zone... the Pop-up window ask me to sign-in to "staging.examiner.com"... :think:

While the pop-up could be remove with a cancel click... it just keep coming... damn irritating... :angry:

Anyone else suffering the same thing ??

Does it appear with the stock browser or chrome? I am using Chrome on my phone and have not encountered that pop-up before.

I'm not using Chrome... my stock browser can't work with Singtel Network... my Tab 8.9 is Starhub... don't ask why :sweat

ClubSNAP is ok... but VR-Zone is really bad and so is Facebook....

Check your APN and browser proxy settings. My friends are on singtel too and their opinion of the services would make the CS vulgarity filter work overtime

Thxs for the info... but didn't work... LOL.

It seems only certain sites are affected.... VR-Zone being the worst... both my phone and tablet suffers the same issue... and even the stock browser on my SII isn't working....

Facebook is back to normal... but VR-Zone is still having the same problem... a 2nd co-worker confirmed the same issue... so did a fellow ClubSNAP-er. Someone was saying this could be a Singtel problem....

Yap, I got it during work. Lots of random sites affected. SingTel too.

The ISPs might be attempting to pull off a "Room 641A" but somebody screwed up the script. :bsmilie:

Not many windowless skyscraper around in Singapore similar to the AT&T Long Lines Building at 33 Thomas Street in New York City (NYC). Go figure. :bsmilie:

It seems their internal DNS routing is screwed and they're slowly trying to fix it.
