Video of second manned flight of the Red Bull Stratos high altitude balloon with pressurized capsule and test jump from 95,000 feet (28,956 meter), which is 2.71 times higher than the average cruising altitude of an airliner at 35,000 feet (10,668 meter).

Glad to see incumbent record holder, former USAF Colonel and Vietnam War veteran Joseph Kittinger as advisor to Felix Baumgartner.

it is possible to break Mach 1 due to high altitude and thin air. wow! (previously thought that terminal velocity is around 80m/s , 25% Mach 1)
