Buying equiptments in Taipei

I will be travelling to taipei soon, and in need of advice from some seniors here who had been there to get equiptments.

I am wondering where would be the better place (read on net alot talking about the BoAi road) to get canon lens or other equiptments there and would it be any cheaper than singapore? :sweat:

There is a shop near shi lin mrt, which is popular with locals and another which is near guang yang ...cant recall exact shop name...will ask my tw frens again

I patronise this store a few times, buying some prime lens. The grey set prices are generally cheaper than SG ranging about 15-20%.
Check out their website and compare the prices. They listed price are the selling price, unless you bargain very hard. But it seem the deal may not be a good these days.

yes, you're right it's 億華. i was looking around for a m4/3 kit back then, and sigma primes. I recalled the m4/3 grey set prices were very good... as well as the sigma primes (30, 50, 85). I recalled asking around for some canon bodies & prime lenses, didn't remember the prices being very attractive compared to singapore.

I guess it's not that wise to buy lens in Taipei..

Depending on which lens you are looking at, prices can be cheaper than SG for the grey set ( parallel import).
I bought a few prime lenses from them, as they said and I kind of agree that prime lenses are less problematic and cheaper to service.
The saving is more than enough to cover the service charges. So far so good, the lenses are problem free. After all, it is still a geniune Nikon product.

It is just beside the MRT station. very easy and convenient. you can google map with the street view.
