Have been wondering how do buyer pay for highly priced items in the b n s section. There is a cash limit and transfer limit when using ATM.

The limit can be adjusted at the bank or via ebanking services.

usually CASH. seller doesn't believe in Cheque/transfer/cashier order/gold bar

Make multiple withdrawals in consecutive days. Usually the seller will understand and I have no issues getting the seller to reserve his item for me

can withdraw any amount at the counter.. down to your last cents

Title seems a bit misleading...i assume u mean high value items.

For me as a seller i only accept cash or immediate on-the-spot bank transfer at atm.

Just meet near a bank and go in to withdraw the cash la :D

Bank transfer on e spot, but most of e account only max out $3000 for transfer.

So $3000 cash and $3000 transfer, total $6k

Or u go bank n cash out $1000 bills.

Few days ago i hv 8k transaction and pay with $50, damm diff to count n maintain haha

You sure you wanna bring a briefcase of cash for COD? :p do let me know when and where are you meeting your seller :D

If one can afford such high value lens I believe he rather get from retail shops instead.

Briefcase of cash? I'm pretty sure you don't need a briefcase if you use $1000 notes :bsmilie:

How much are we talking about here?

A car dealer once paid me in cash for a couple of tens of thousand in a carpark.
