Help with single colored pixel

Hi guys,

can help me with this. Theres a purple color pixel at the MBS area. What is that?
also i noticed there are such colored pixel on my other photos as well but at different spot.
Theres one even better. its a grey bubble thing which im not sure what it is.

oh ok thanks Rashkae! Is it suppose to appear on every photo or will it be random photo random spots?
i seem to have some other photos with different kind of pixel after going through them last night. not even sure if its pixel because it tried to see it on a out of focus picture and its like a bubble that appeared from nowhere.
previously i posted for help where on the dark areas of the picture, it was very very color pixelated when when my iso was at 100. I brush it off as problem "fixed" because there wasnt any after i took some photos on my next trip.

Ill send my camera in for remapping but just curious how does this hot pixel come about? How do i avoid it?

Just google hot pixel. It's a technical thing. Even if you remap, I believe it alleviates but not solve the problem. Just spot heal unwanted hot pixels off with PS.

Btw to avoid the problem, I guess use low iso, do less long exposures.....let your camera "rest" which also means don't be too trigger happy. But for myself, I won't care. Just PS it

I got it twice. Didnt send for remap ever since. I usually ignore it because it's only a pixel out of millions. Yours quite severe, mine only small tiny dot which is barely visible even when 100% zoomed.

the prob is.... my iso is set at 100 for the above pic and not very slow shutter speed. This photo is already not so bad. there were some others that had it ALL over the dark areas on long exposure at iso100 also!

The point is....its a not a problem you can choose to avoid/ eliminate.

Rashkae, or anyone else for that matter, will remapping help if there are quite a number of these "hot pixels"? I have a 7D that under exposures of around 15sec ++ will generate quite a number of hot pixels (especially for night sky). The number of these hot pixels are like 20 I believe.
