NBA Finals - Oklahoma City Thunder vs Miami Heat

Just hope miami loses .. its a 5 man team vs 3 man team in my opnion ..

Any yes, the miami coach dont seem to have any good basketball tactics .. I guess its really easy to coach the team .. Just sent the big 3 out and hope for the best .. How many times have the coach talk irrelavent issue during the post game interview ...

It is a tradeoff, you spend a bomb on 3 MVP candidates in your team, of cos have to cut cost on coach.

I think Miami bench not that bad.

Joel Anthony - Good shot blocker
Shane Battier - Good defender but 3pt a bit inconsistant recently
Mario Chalmers - not too bad, can be a scoring option
Mike Miller - a freaking hot 3pt shooter
Udonis Haslem - very good mid range shooter
Ronny Turiaf - a bit so so defender but can block some shots as well..

Considering the money spent on the big 3, I think got such bench very not bad liao. Just that the media is cooking ideas that the bench suck big time to prepare the Heat an excuse of exiting the finals.

I think the most funny part is that in the comments in NBA dot com, some of the Miami fans say once they got Dwight Howard and Phil Jackson in, they will own the rest. ie NBA ALL Star team?!?

Sad that I heard Steve Nash might join the Heat next year.. Would lose my respect for him..

I have a feeling that it's LeBron's time to win the ring. But I'm still rooting for OKC. They are like a younger version of the Spurs.

I support the Heat, but i've also taken a liking to OKC as well..

Heats is defo not a 3-man team.. Joel Anthony is a shot-blocker and effective in the paint, Mario Chalmers is a scoring alternative and provider, Mike Miller is a 3-point machine..

Joel Anthony is a black hole on offense ...
Mario Chalmers a provider is like saying Kendrick Perkins a low post threat
When was the last time the phrase "Mike Miller" and double digit scoring come together ..

But then , LBJ is really awesome ! In Game 6 he had that "look" Jordan had whenever he goes to work

yup.. Anthony can be **** on offense but he does add weight to the defense..
Chalmers aint the best pg but he aint too bad though..
Miller doesn't get a lot of minutes but he usually doesnt disappoint..

I would love to see this line-up though:
C: Dwight Howard (i think he's the best center in the game)
PF: Chris Bosh
SF: Lebron James
SG: Dwayne Wade
PG: Chris Paul

Or even better:
C: Dwight Howard
PF: Chris Bosh
SF: Lebron James
SG: Kevin Durant
PG: Dwayne Wade

Joel Anthony erm offense cant la, no post move, totally a offensive liability. But he is there for defensive anyway.

Mario Chalmers is more useful that he seems, he can make 3pt shots and in a while stretches the defense for james and wade to muscle their way in, if they cant, pass out to Chalmers or Miller.

Haven you seen how miller shoots recently? challenged 3pt shots but still made them more than misses.

I think LBJ's jumpshots more and more consistant liao, esp his turnard shots, but I still prefer him to muscle his way thru, it is his adv anyway, why compare to kobe or jordan?
if kena off form, hong gan liao...

james is showing his mvp calibre in recent games..

I feel that OKC has more depth and can rely on other players in the bench. James Harden, 6th man of the year is young and athletic and can really do some serious damage.
Don't forget 5-time champion Derek Fisher. I know he's old but he's still clutch and can provide good motivation and leadership. He has a lot of experience in the finals. And also there's Perkins, also a champion and a defensive monster.

I don't think Heat has anything to counter against OKC's Ibaka and Perkins in the paint. They will have to rely heavily on Wade and LBJ, provided that he doesn't do his usual disappearing act in clutch times.

Then OKC should match Perkins with Bosh. With that Perkins' scary face, Bosh will probably piss himself. LOL. Kidding.

Game 1: 1st Q: 47-37 Miami leads.

Derek Fisher playing like he was 25 yrs old again!

I root for fisher ... Haha if he win a championship, that will ease off all the sour feeling from been trade off from lakers ..

I think Lakers without fisher, play bball so messy..

Sweet la, OKC lead Miami at the last quarter.. see if james/wade/bosh can clutch or not or choke again..

85-93 OKC leads. 2:44 left in the 4th!

Looks like another typical Heat let down.
Durant looks like he's being possessed by Jordan during the 4th.

I can sense OKC hungry for championship, but Miami more of like dont want to lose cos throw face...
