 Oh man, what bad karma that frog has! He must have done something very very very bad & torturing in his past life(s) ... but how is it still alive without a heart? Or where actually are frogs' hearts located at?

If human can be so cruel, dont donate whenever there are disasters in other countries and show concern/care. It's a punishment from "TOP" and when we donate, does it help or did the money really put into good use or someone else pocket? I eat sushi but not to that extend.

OMG!! 0.15 really got me. And I think I rather not have the frog look at me while I'm eating.

If any of us marries a live frog-eating Japanese girl, he has to go catching live frogs for her dinner everyday.

It's "No frog no sex" for you. :)

For anyone who marries a 'frog eating Japanese girl', you must note what part of you goes into her mouth...

If japan all nuclear meltdown, all human there sure become zombie, confirmed!

Simply grotesque unearly creature...human eating live frog,so sickening & inhumane!

It's different, in the eater's views. eating them live, you'll see them die. Eating after they are being slaughtered is less inhumane.

Those fried or steamed frogs are thrown into the frying pan or boiling pot of water alive also. Some are torn apart and gutted literally prior to being cooked.

/Don't eat frogs.

Yes, but at least you don't have to see the upper half body wiggle in your bowl. It's really sad to see it clinging onto it's life for the last second.

Theoretically speaking, they are already dead. The twitching is just impulses from the nervous system. However i do agree that there's no need to proof that you are eating a freshly slaughtered animal...

Japan like Singapore has a small land mass with few eatable animals. Whatever plants, animals and insects that could be eaten already have been eaten.

Without eating frogs Japanese may face starvation and extinction.

We may condemn them now. But one day when the food becomes scarce in our Little Red Dot we'll look for crickets, birds, frogs etc to stay alive.

A tasty fried snake snack:
