Hello there. im just got the akarui dry cabi(E26D) as a gift. i'd try to run it empty for several hours and it achieved the 50% on RH and 29c on but the RH dropped to the 31% after i put my equipment(1 body, 3 lenses). Is that normal or got something wrong with the cabinet. Anyway what is the suitable RH for camera equipment. Thanks

u juz need to keep ur humidity level at arnd 30-55% for general camera equipment.. if ur dry box hav a switch to adjust the dehumidifier.. generally it shld be at medium..

if I'm not wrong recommended RH is 45-55%

is it normal running on 31%?. thanks

is it normal running on 31%?. thanks

31% is it the reading after you open and close the door?
or til now (17hr later) still on 31%

if it still 31% now need to adjust again to reach 40-55

31% is too low, any rubber part of your equipment will be damaged if you leave it at 31% for extended period. Try to go 45% to 55%.

i always ensure mine is between 42-50%

Thanks all, after a long day tuning, i've got a ideal 45%.
