Berlebach Tripods 50% off in Bangkok

No idea where this goes, but thought I'd share
Stumbled upon a post on the FM forums whereby a user reports that Berlebach is offering 50% discounts on their wooden tripods at the Bangkok Photo Fair

Not too bad compared to Gitzos, but definitely cost a bit more compared to the Siruis.

Good for sea-faring though. :bsmilie:

Aye edutilos, I've taken my CF tripod for quite a few dunks and even though it goes through a nice bath after, there's a lot of white residue (salt?) after, especially lodged in the leg locks
Yours probably goes for a swim regularly? Heh ... has it shown any wear in that regard?

Not yet, but I wash it down with freshwater right after (for the nonwooden part).

There are more wounds from scrapping against rocks when climbing, etc...

If yours is Sirui it is quite easy to strip.

Have a report 2022. Fantastic performance except the weight and size. To explain, my camera has almost no vibration when setting it on platforms or highway. Even vibration on highway due to heavy vehicle doesn't last for a second while my older alumimium, metal and cf tripod doesn't do half as well. But beware the weight and size. I barely fit my tripod into my oversea laguage bag. Have to remove head and place tripod diagonally.
