Another public figure passed away.... at 48

Seems that many great celebrities/public figures died at a young age... Elvis, Michael Jackson,Theresa Teng,Steve Jobs,James Dean,Jimi Hendrix,Jim Morrison,River Phoenix,Marilyn Monroe,Martin Luther King,Bob Marley... just to name a few

Too much booze, drugs &/or stress....
 

She sang great but never go rehab......too bad......if in sports....., she will be disqualified and ban for a long long time :(
 

It is her entourage and her own weaknesses that led to this.

Elvis, Michael Jackson, MC Hammer, Mike Tyson etc... had entourages. These flatterers and hangers-on feed off the stars/famous person and will not say no to the star who is providing for the gravy train. In some cases it leads to drugs (Elvis and WH), in others cases to wild over-spending that led to bankruptcy (MC Hammer and Mike Tyson). A documentary said MJ was nearly broke before he died and needed the London tour to pay his bills.
Entourages are quick to spot the star's weaknesses (e.g. for reckless spending, for drugs, for alcohol, for gambling, etc...) and are sycophantic to fan the star's ego.



Prefer her cousin Dionne Warwick's singing - refined and less shouting.

Can Mediacorp replay "BODYGUARD" the movie on Valentine's Day - this will surely be an excellent tribute to her. Her TOP ten songs are always in my IPOD - never tired of listening to them, inspire me sometimes and extremely felt whenever I listen to them every time.

Let's not talk the bad side of her life, remember her for the excellent songs she has given us and for her fans, she will definitely live a legacy on her vocals that will be difficult to match and find nowadays. If you have not listened to them before - try the below songs titles:

Feng Fei Fei died on Jan 3. Before she died, she realized that CNY was approaching. She gave clear instructions that her death is to be kept secret till after CNY so as not to affect the mood of her fans. What a thoughtful lady!
