I just got a Galaxy Tab 7 Plus. I realize that you can connect a SD card reader to it. This would make a great way to preview picture rather than connect it to a laptop. Has anyone used the adapter before:

Galaxy Tab™ USB & SD Connection Kit

wow. and the Sony Tablet S has a built-in SD Card Slot. with a Micro-USB port as well.

ipad has the camera connection kit too...

wow. has no one noticed that Samsung's Galaxy Tab is an iPad ripoff? just a cheaper, uglier version that runs on Android?

I beg to differ. The galaxy tab supports more media types than the Ipad. This saves me the time of converting the media to one that the ipad can support. Touch screen tablets were around long before the ipad. The Ipad was just a commercial successful and more popular.

you miss the point. i'm not talking about which came first :bsmilie:

Tablets have made photo sharing easier, esp with higher quality images.

I agreed .. specially when you want to have fast view on the photos taken after an event by 7" or 10 " HD screen, instead of going home to upload, tablets fit into the need. You don't need a laptop or notebk to do that.
That my experience 5 days ago, during the first day of CNY temple visit and upload to tablet to view at my relative home.

I think you missed the point instead, he is just saying there's more to the tab than what you mentioned. Saying this from a purely neutral view.

saying this from a purely neutral POV, please look at my first and second posts and comment again to see who missed the point.

(Neither device compatible with SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab™ 7.0)

Read carefully before buying any stuffs :p

Wow, and the Motorola xoom has built in micro SD card slot, with micro USB port AND a micro HDMI port.

AND it's upgradable to ICS at this very moment.

Hmm... And I wonder how does the Asus Prime fare in term of IQ and color reproduction. Anyone has it compared with the iPad2?

Been using my GF's iPad2, FS Pro, for editing of images.. Think that it's almost akin to photoshop.. But I think most importantly IQ and color reproduction must be as accurate as possible to WYSIWYG.. Hoping that android has such equivalent functionality as I love that Asus Prime..

Anyone? :)
