Fa 31 lens cap

Hi All,

I just got a Fa 31 today and I must say it is such a well crafted gem!

Wanna ask fellow owners do u guys replace the lens cap with a 3rd party one? Can advise me where to get one that fits?

I use a 58mm screw on hood and 58mm lens cap to replace the original cap.

I prefer 58mm screw on-hood and cap cos to prevent scratching the inner side of the built-in hood if using just the 58mm lens cap.

here's my version. I prefer black hood since filter also black.


Can check these shops for hood & lens cap from Camera Workshop, Benro, OP etc.

I prefer the better quality lens cap from Camera Workshop.

i actually using a hood as well for protection as i felt that the build in hood doesnt really protect

The hood was given to me by a friend and the lens cap bought in Japan.
I think Camera Workshop carries quality metal hoods.
