hope to get views on composition and post processing

2.what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?

let the viewer feel been to an old indian shop which we hardly find one here.

3.under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)

walking along the street of masjid india in kuala lumpur saw this old shop which make me remember my younger day where i love to buy things from this kind of shop.

4.what the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture?

on how the post process been made. convert it to retro colour just to make it feeling an old school moment critics n suggestions
most welcomed.

Is this at Clementi ave 2 ? From ur title I expected a front angle shot of one of the shop along serangoon. Good shot anyway .
 

I don't get the feel here. It's too cluttered - My eyes are drawn to the boy on the left and the little girl. You actually need to look and see that the shopkeeper is indian, but that alone does not give the "indian shop" feel.
 

Ditto with Rashkae, maybe you could have waited till the man & the girl left the shop then re-shoot it again.
Patience is needed...
