Getting a dry cabinet for my dslr.
any advices??
a 40L should be sufficient??
thanks alot...
If thats the case..a 40L cabinet is definitely more than enough.. after which u can still store..2-3 lenses comfortably.atm, my current current gear is canon 550d, 18-270mm tamron
would be sticking to this body for quite sometime as to gain exp instead of jumping to semi-pro series.
i am a newbie and i got a 30L.. can store my canon 60d with grip.. canon 18-200, canon 50mm, canon 430ex2, 580ex2, tamron 17-50, panasonic LX5, panasonic gf3 with pancake and my G3 body.. haha.. only left with space for a lizard..
40-50% is just nice.and is the cabi supposed to be power on at all times?.. coz sometimes my dad will forget and turn the mains off.. but the time i reach home already see 45%.. will my equipment have any problem?
40-50% is just nice.
Too dry the grip/rubber might crack
Linmei said:ok.. thanks for the advise.. so can i off the power when i leave home? and on it back when i come bck home? coz my dad keep saying waste electricity..
but been full house doesnt affect the performance right?... coz so far the meter maintain at 35-37%.. so it should be ok right?
You have to leave it on all the time like the fridge. What's the point if the humidity keeps going up when you leave the house. The cost needed to operate the dry cabinet is very low. Guess you have to convince your father on this point
