NOTICE: If you don't see the images in some of the older posts means I had used up the 10GB bandwidth for this month. I'm sorry these pictures can no longer be viewed until next month where the counter will be reset to zero and the pictures would then appear again. For the newer posts I am using another account so it is not affected. Enjoy !

All about Toys and Collectables as product shoots - mostly metal figures, soldiers, diecast tanks, planes, cars, swords and sometimes PVC figures as well...

MONONOFU (武士)

Mononofu is a collectible series focus on weapons used all over the world through out history made in a scale of 1:10. Each type is highly detail and expertly painted with the blade made with stainless steel giving them a realistic look as well as having a heavy weight feel. Mononofu (武士)means Warrior in Japanese

Nicely taken :)

Personally I would separate the items, I find them too complicated/distracting here for eq: the shoes/dog/bowl or frame in front of the swords. Perhaps try positioning them differently but only if they add value to the photo. I don't see the relevance of putting a dog or shoes in front of swords, pic 1 would be great w/o the shoe and moving the tag a bit to the left (like in pic 4). The curvy part of the stand is also kinda distracting. Hope you don't my mind my 2cts. ;p Thanks for sharing....

"Katana" is one of the traditionally made Japanese swords (日本刀) that were worn by the samurai class of feudal Japan, also commonly referred to as a "samurai sword". These swords are razor sharp

The katana is characterized by its distinctive appearance: a curved, slender, single-edged blade with a circular or squared guard and long grip to accommodate two hands.

McFarlane Toys 6" Corpse Bride Series 2 - Victor

The one on the left is shot using the 50mm f1.8G on D5100 @ f16. This one right using 85mm Micro DX @f16

I noticed the 85mm is slightly better for product shoot. This corpse bride is about 6 inch tall. CONCLUSION - Each lens has its use and purpose!

Corpse Bride, often referred to as Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, is a 2005 British-American stop-motion-animated fantasy film. The plot is set in a fictional Victorian era village in Europe. Johnny Depp led an all-star cast as the voice of Victor depicted here.

More King and Country (Shot after buying a SEKONIC Light Meter. SEKONIC used to meter the shoot- and IT WORK WONDERS! Last time need to trial and error and grey card all not accurate. Now the color is "as-is" of the actual product tuned using a SPYDER CUBE)
