My squeal for assistance- K-5 - Green button customisation and Lens microadjustment?

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me with two things.

1) The Green Button on the K-X can be customised for a very wide range of things. I customised it for digital filters. But on the K-5 I haven't found any such list. If you go to the Av etc modes, there is a limited list, but in general, the green button seems non customisable. Is there a way to either link the Green Button with digital filters or Cross Processing, or the gain access to Filters or Cross Processing without going through the menu?


2) Lens micro adustment.- I've read numerous times how some lenses need to be calibrated with the camera, say +2, or -5, or +9, etc. But I can't find any such function on my K-5. The nearest I've found is Lens Correction, which is simply a "yes"/"no" option for distortion and Lat-chromic. Where is this lens adjustment function?


Just to head off the usual short tempered forumers who like to lamblast people for being dumb and lazy, I have in fact read the 373 page user manual, and I have Googled on this issues and read several detailed reviews on the K-5, some of which answered other questions I had.

I appreciate any serious replies to these questions of mine

I don't use the Green Button much, but for Lens Adjustment, you go to MENU, then Custom 4.
You find 26. AF Fine Adjustment.
Select ON (2)
Select APPLY ONE when making adjustment.
Uusually we set to the widest aperture @ max focal length to compare the different settings in "-" or "+".
