It's probably not the "big"ness but the "plum"-looking body... Come to think about it, might as well ripped the mirror off the D3100, replace the OVF with EVF, relabel the body to ML3100 and call it new Nikon Mirrorless!... WhOoT! A 1.5 sensor to boot too! :bsmilie:

Bloomberg says the big two are losing out much potential sales on the mirrorless market. Nice to know Nikon is joining the fray though abeit late. But with their financial clout they probably will not waste time catching up.

A need for going light and small with an important option of changing lenses as the occasion need. The mirrorless lenses probably should have pancake type.
