Hi ziploc, how much u paid for the C5C? Wat head does it comes with?

$290 incl GST, Comex price, at Artworkfoto booth (6393). The ballhead is a Fotopro FPH-520. There are a few colors available for the tripod: titanium (mine), green, blue, orange, black. The C-5C is the carbon fibre version, there is also the C-5i which is the aluminium version. What's nice about this tripod is that, similar to the Gitzo Traveller, it is very compact when folded (43cm) and is very light weight (1.2kg excl ballhead, or 1.5kg incl ballhead), yet very tall when fully extended (157cm excl center column). It can get very low for macro and the center column can be reversed. The design is well thought out and you can even remove one leg and it becomes a monopod. There is an even lighter version, the C-4c/C-4i, but I find that they are a bit too filmsy and probably more suited for ladies.

You can read about it here. Specs available here. Artworkfoto's ads here.

May I know how much did you pay for the trigmaster?

No worries. So getting one? :D

I was considering to upgrade or not to carbon fibre.. Still in two minds.. Haha..
Let's see if something will happen or i'll be a few hundred bucks poorer.. :bsmilie:

Trigmaster Plus (the transceiver, meaning with transmitter & receiver built in) is $60/pc Comex price. The Trigmaster receiver is $30/pc. There is also the Trigmaster transmitter + receiver pair package which is $55/pair if I remember correctly. The Trigmaster Plus can work with the Trigmaster receiver without problem. They were also gotten from Artworkfoto booth.

No need consider liao, BBB! LOL.

But if you're thinking of getting a carbon fibre tripod, this is one of the cheaper options. And even though it is unproven yet since I've not started using it, first impression is very good. You should go Suntec and have a look yourself. :)
