Composition , and NDP Feeling

2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
Convert into black and white with do the split toning in flag area

3. under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
It was evening in that time, very crowded, and every body seems excited to see the fireworks.

4. what the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture
Am feeling that nothing interesting to express NDP feeling for this one

This is really nice & well thought out. Contrasting colors of the flag against the B&W background really brings out the message of NDP. thumbs up

If really wanna nitpick, probably a tighter crop would draw viewer's attention to the flag itself. Probably cropping away the empty spaces top & right sides.

But these r really just minor stuffs, overall lovely photo & nice timing capture

great photo... totally got the mood of NDP... cropping wise, i think its ok, but then again, everyone has a different opinion... which may not necessarily be a bad thing!

According to me the pic still miss the feeling part, the excitement of freedom and excitement of seeing the firework (which is ur main objective in this pic)

i have the same sentiment.. it miss the atmosphere of NDP..
IMO.. not necessarily the firework.. u can include the crowd too (the heads of the crowd.. maybe..)
