HTC repair

anyone can recommend a good hp repair shop, one that u have personally went to to use their services?

i have a htc hd2, which after doing some test, kinda isolated down to the keypad flexcable being spoilt.

i lack the skill and guts to tear out my phone, else would had DIYed. i cant send it back to HTC cause i wiped out the winmo and replaced it with android, warranty is voided.

soooo anyone knows any 3rd party vendor who knows how to deal with this?

*wonders if fatigue fixes such stuff*

will be checking out some of the shops tat i found online, but would prefer a more reliable one tat ppl would recommend/personally used before

If it is still under warranty, do consider restoring back to the factory default and send it back to HTC. :sweat:

That is what I did for my HD2 when the LCD got defect. :sweatsm:

i used to use hd2, now using dell streak 5. big screen is definitely a big plus

Suggest find 3rd party to change OS back for you then change to android again thereafter. :bsmilie:

guess i'll have to do it myself if i wanted that ahhaha...

no one has a recommendation for a shop that just do a repair/soldering?

I got LCD issue also 2mths back.
Out of warranty by 1mth, send to HTC for repair.
Got a new LCD without paying a single cents.
You should factory reset and send it back.

Saw 1 shop at sim lim repairing phones for some folks. Name is Orient something at level 4. He quoted me $160 for the cracked HD2 screen. Didn't do cos still thinking worth it or not. You may try and let me know

get it done. 160 is worth it. i paid 300 at HTC for the cracked hd2 screen. *grumbles*
