I was wondering how do you define casual?

Have you lived in Singapore long? Never been out of the house? Have you joined any of the many many casual fashion shoots here on CS? Have you checked the P&P section and seen the locations listed there?

Skystrike: hmm just normal shoot lor.. easy modelling..haha

Rashkae: "THANKS" for you "ADVICE". -.-

Even walking down bugis street or orchard road is considered casual to me... doubt anyone will chase you away, thou many will find you in the way (aka "zor teng")

Skystrike: haha nice agreed! hmm any idea which museum confirm will no chase u out? or will shooting at Raffles hotel will they chase u?

from Little indian walk to bugis its causal for me ...

No idea...I don't even take portraits in the first place:p (other than Passport/IC Photo for myself :bsmilie:)

If you think photo shoots are easy then think again. Unless, it's just camwhoring.

I don't see the point in asking others for locations that are EASY and FAST, only you can find a place suitable for your own needs. You're the photographer anyway, our suggestions might defer from yours.

Chinese garden, Toa Payoh Garden, Botanic Garden, Katong Park, East Coast Park, Bishan Park, Bukit Batok Park and many many parks, sure nobody will chase you, not even dogs

Catchlight bro mentioned SO MANY for you.

ALL also accessible by MRT, so it's EASY TO GO, CONFIRM can shoot at there and CONFIRM wont get chase out.

Spoon-feeding -_-

You are just like asking where got nice food to eat in Singapore. There are so many places.

So try narrowing it down like asking where can I shoot sunset seascape with rocks on shore etc.

That will be easier for us to suggest the place for you.

honestly, everyone is taking a shot in the dark and answering your question.

it's like, everyone recommends shooting at a nature reserve/park, then suddenly after 100 posts you say "oh. it's not a theme on nature. it's a retro theme. i need a retro looking area".

your description of "casual" is too broad. anything can be casual.

Shoot at home .........as casual as you wannabe......... You also know exactly where............... otherwise go where catchights had suggested :)

maybe you can try lim chu kang also? i believe no ppl will chase you out also,

hmm wait, maybe "other" ppl will

TS: Instead of waiting for spoonfeeding you can browse through the Gallery sections here. Plenty of pictures, plenty of styles, most are casual (the opposite of 'formal'). Get ideas from there, compare with what you have in mind (we can't see what you have in mind), check where you live and how you get to the location. Go and shoot.
Keep in mind: Not the camera will make you a photographer suddenly. The first thing is the idea.
