Fireworks in Marina Bay on 30th July

Hi, anyone care to join me for this last firework before the actual one on 9th August? You can come as a beginner or a pro as we will learn from one another, bring friends along as the more the merrier! We will be using bulb mode to shoot. http://www.etour-singapore.com/fireworks-in-singapore.html

Meeting time: 5pm Marina Bay control station
Things to bring:
- Wired shutter control (remote not recommended as frequency is messy there)
- Tripod
- Camera
- UWA lens (10-20mm/11-16mm/12-24mm etc)
- Money (not to give me but to eat dinner first or after the firework)
- Black Card (Mainly to block off some fireworks that you don't want to see it in your photos, as long as it is black in color)
- Last but not least, a positive learning and enjoying process =)

you might end up with more people tagging along with you other than the intended few. location PM to the others who've signed up would be better

@coolwood .. can join np as long as we meet at the meeting point .. pls bring along a black card, any black color card will do as long as it is big enough to cover the diameter of ur lens .. ARD 10 cm by 10 cm and make sure it is quite hardy cos normal paper like foolscape will just fly off in the wind if not held tightly .. I will try to bring extra if possible but not cfm .. and those who have not pm me ur hp number pls pm me asap ..

Hi, pls count me and my friend, lemonade in too. We're complete beginners and don't have the wired shutter control and UWA lens that you mentioned. We're using kit lens. Ok?

@ skyccy .. np just join
@MsSunnie .. no worries, u can try my/others camera with wired remote or I can teach u using the manual way and that is put ur mode to 'bulb' and hold ur shutter fully depressed from 5 to <10 seconds and then release and u will know what i mean, u can try it at home first on ur tripod and see how and for ur kit lens is never a problem since minimal u shd have a 18-55mm and we shd be using ard 20 to 30mm
