the fastest way is to just convert it in the camera, shoot in JPG.

the external way is the to a batch conversion, Nikon ViewNX2 can do this, it come in a CD free with your camera.

Thanks a lot, go back home then tried.

Visited my nephew in Shanghai
& took quite a lot of raw pictures. Scolded by my sister saying how to show to my mother back home.

Anyway, seldom take jpeg so not sure there is this feature in the Nikon software.

Some cameras have the option to convert raw to jpeg in the in-camera menu. Others use lightroom to do batch conversion. Photoshop can do it as an action but u have to manually convert on first. Ultimately it comes down to what software ur using and quality of conversion u want.

Doesn't matter about quality, she just want to show my mother. I will tried the Nikon software when I go home.

Will process a few good one for myself.

Use lightroom to import.

Edit everything as per necessary and batch export.

Try FastStone Image Viewer to simply view your raw photos on the screen.

y shoot RAW when u want to mass convert them?
RAW images have to be processed properly, else shooting directly in JPG would give you better results

if you are worried that you might screw up and need some processing, maybe you can consider shooting RAW+JPG.
Nikon ViewNX2 should have the function for batch conversion, or you can use photoshop/lightroom

TS already explain what ...... "Scolded by my sister saying how to show to my mother back home."

...... "Scolded by my sister saying how to show to my mother back home."

Haha common expression! "Last time seldom people take pictures but we see the photos. Nowadays you all snap snap snap so many times but never got chance to view photos..."

Thanks, I had converted all my pictures to jpeg using Nikon View NC.
