beer to cool down?

I heard from the gardener that drinking beer does cool ur body down after a day under hot sun. I was super hot after walking from bt timah to bt panjang via railway tracks yest. Drink a lot of cold water but still cant cools down. Went to 7-11 n got myself a can of beer. Very fast cools down, not like previously, still feeling hot upon reaching home. Any one drinks beer to cool down after a hot day outside?

It all depends on the type of beer. Usually these beers are more carbonated and lighter on the palette. Sort of along the line of different lagers.

It's quite known that a cool beer can cool you down. Beermakers have been tapping into these markets by producing Summer Ales for people to drink after a long day of work outside.

And like the guy above me said, Singaporeans call it ang mo liang teh.

I've already got a pilsner prepared for me tomorrow night after shooting a S League match for me to drink while editing my photos. Judging by the weather. I'ma need it.

Yes. Some say a local beer is brewed with pineapple ingredient. Very cooling. If you drink much can have soft legs. Not sure if cause any impotence. You can ask the regular heavy drinkers what happened to them.

Rochefort 10!!! Where do you find it in Singapore?? I only managed to find the 6. GOD I LOVE TRAPPIST!

I love ale too! But some lagers are pretty good like Sam Adams Vienna Lager and Pilsners. I'ma open my Pilsner Urquell tonight!

alamak, go buy those tea(in a bottle) from chinese medicine shop. ask them for something there will cool you down. ranging from $1 - $5. i don't know how to spell those medicine name in English. I assume you are not Chinese and do not understand Mandrain coz if you are or if you do, you will approach the chinese medicine stall.
