Pentex photocopier?

Haha.. Dunno. Hope this gives Pentax better direction. I always thought it good as Hoya makes excellent glass. Hoya kept the medical device segment of the business and sold off the camera division.

Didn't know this either...

Ventizz Capital Fund IV L.P. has agreed to acquire 100 percent of the shares of Hasselblad from Hong Kong-based Shriro Group.

Good for Hassie?

What about the rumour of Tamasek acquiring Nikon and Canon with the intention of merging the two brands into one? :bsmilie:

Haha. New brand Canikon? Already top 10 shareholder of Nikon and Oly.

Not in my books.. bitten in the Contax fold.. thank God this one I am only watching from afar!

Hoya have made Pentax into a toy camera company. Ricoh will make Pentax into a more serious camera for professional. I believe Pentax Q will have a premature death.

Haha.. Looks more like Lego had a go with Pentax.

Hoya bought Pentax for $ 863 million USD
Ricoh bought Pentax over for $124.2 million USD
Temasek holdings will get a better deal next time

Not the entire Pentax just the 'imaging division', so when you mention both Pentaxes they are not the same thing.
