Call those shops up yourself and ask. If I were you, I would stay clear of Sim Lim square except for the Orient Photo on the sixth floor.

Go to MS color (AMK), Cathay Photo (Penisular Singapore), John 3:16 (Funan), TK Foto (Funan) and those shop listed on the price guide list.

Many special "offers". In all of them you will lose money.

very very very limited selection on lenses. And most likely the prices are not attractive

Just got this lens (Canon mount) a few weeks ago from MS Color. Ask for e-quote (on their website), print and bring to the shop. Forget Sim Lim, unless either you go to Orient Photo, 6th floor or you are into adventure shopping with high chances of losing money at the lower floors.

Octarine, I ask for equote from their website, but got no response. Are you a regular?

Not really sure whether it was $560 or $530, came with some no-name UV filter. I'm not a regular, in fact I haven't been there for 3 years I think. Together with me a colleague also asked for e-quote, got it within 2 days. Have you checked your spam filter / spam folder? Of course, if your provider does the filtering you might never see the response.

They give a LOT of discounts to the alpha users. Also, it's near my house, so quite convenient.
