hi! anyone know where to get DSLR for entry level at the price of 800 to 900 dollars??

any brand oso can.

that oso come with full kit with bag and Accessories??

thanks

You can get a lot of them for that price. Depends on what you feel comfortable with. You should do research on the consumer models of the various brands, Sony, Pentax, Canon, Olympus, Nikon...(Not necessarily in that order.) Also depends if you want video, kit lens, etc.

thanks for the tip....

btw wat is a kit lens??

The lens that come with the camera.

My advise is you get a 2nd hand entry level to play with first. Model like Sony A290, Canon 1000D you can get it at around $500 or even less.

^^ what he said.
But if you are not confident you can check the quality of the second hand camera, I would suggest you just buy the base model DSLR first hand.

sooner and later if you move to a higher end like a55 or the yet to launch a77, if you like it

That why I feel that is no point getting a new body, get a 2nd hand one and spend more money on lens.

Yup. To learn, using a 2nd hand dslr would suit the purpose. Buy a good lens with the leftover moolah.

And when the power Sony bodies come out at year's end, it's time to have a bbb explosion :bsmilie:

Haha...I not comfortable with 2nd product unless I more familiar to the market, I rather pay extra more rather den pay something I end up being "cheated". I not saying that 2nd hand no good, becoz I new to the hobby I wan to be more careful on wat I'm using...thanks for the tip guys...if my cheated word have offended anyone, I'm sorry

The reason why I advise you to get a 2nd hand body is due to ther are some very good offer.

e.g

It costs less than the A290 and it is definitely a better model than a290.

In 2 to 3 month times, when you decide to upgrade or quit, you can still sell it around the same price you bought.

If you buy a a290, now and 3 month down the road, you want to upgrade, the market value will be likely to be less than $500.

Just bring a long an expert with you to check, and do remember, once you stick to a brand, it will be very costly to jump ship.

p/s I'm not related to that seller. just use it as an example. :)

actually not very true. who knows, in 2-3 months time, some new model comes out pushing the price lower. it's the same. price will drop.

i have a friend who wants to sell his A700 cheap. but the only problem is he was too slow to let it go. at that time he had an offer for $1200. but he wanted to hold out for more, thinking that it'll increase in price due to it being an "antique" of sorts. two months later, the price dropped to $800. and he's regretting not letting it go.

and if you lie and say you're the first owner to get a higher price, then it's morally wrong and prone to bashing if someone finds out.
