I just got the Yashica Lynx 14 and its a beastly (big & heavy) fixed lens RF, borrowing raytoei's phrase "camera-hit-dog, dog-will-die" type! The leaf shutter certainly attracted me, along with the yashinon f1.4... this is circa 1965, here's a shot from my first test roll

ya that is a good example of 50 lux ASPH sharpness. if you like sharp portraits, this is best lens. "Purity" was shot wide open yes? The subject almost pops out of the picture with very 3d effect, and the single strands of gold hairs gleaming under the sunlight...

I like my portraits abit soft, so i tend to prefer 50 lux pre-ASPH, or 50 Sonnar 1.5 for the old fashion look.

Yeah! I shot this wide open, but it was in the elevator. This lens is very, very sharp. After looking at the image for the first time, I found the boy really really cute. But after looking more closely, I started to freak out a little...

Well, anyway, here's another shot. Dun have a name for it though.
