Hi Edwin!

Great books you have there, I bet they cost you quite a bit!
And thanks for taking the effort to share.

I love to read books too and I can never resist buying them.
There is nothing quite like holding, touching and flipping through a well-printed book.
Here are some of my favorite photography books, while some are directly prevalent to 'street-snapper', others touch on more general topics, debates and arguments.

These are much more wordy, but invaluable reads nonetheless. The Capa one's especially interesting!
Sontag and Barthes are seminal works too.

Hi

May i know what is CPA?

CPA is Charity Print Auctions... quoting the group admin "Photographers donating prints for auction to help the people of Japan following the earthquake and tsunami in March 2011. "

Here's the flickr link...

This book looks like very interesting...not cheap thou..saw it off ukbookdepository usd 43...so tempted to buy it...how is it?? care to review?

guys, I have tons of magazines to give away. But new owers must promise me that they will pass down to the next to continue the passion. These are expensive imported magazines like photography monthly, slrs blar blar.. so many i forgot. Inside them you can find tutorials on night shoot, filters choice, long exposure speed, iso sensitivity, composition blar blar blar.. all the basics on photography.

Please PM me if you are keen is the magazines.. I will bring batches of it out so wouldnt select what is good for who. Like a lucky draw :)
I have certainly benefited from these magazines alot and I always believe everyone can shoot but understanding the technical basic is important. That will determine if a pic make or breaks.

A few more to share... :)

bro newghost, u really appreciate good books....

:)

by e way, just for the book lovers here, i normally buy my books off bookdepository.co.uk
I find their price is quite comparable and cheaper than local bookstores...and often, they throw in some discount.
Shipping is free and they wrap the books very well. My past few copies i received, there wasnt a single dent or edges bent etc...if its hard copy books, most of the time its registered mail wrapped in cardboards.

Thou a UK website, they trade in USD.
The only bad thing is, it reaches only after 3-4weeks. There isnt any chinese books....but most of the english books u can find here, u can find there.

I got my geographical 100 sacred place limited editon book half the price that kino quoted me.

Hope this little informations benefit everyone...i got this website off 8 days thou..haha

still, my fav book is Rangefinder by Roger Hicks..
It's very useful for newbies who are just started to venture into the world of RF..

Don't always have to buy, there are quite a number of decent books available at the national library as well ;)

reading this now (My Photography, My Voice by Hong-Hee Kim), quite an interesting read..
