Using a longer lens will help you more with the macro, the 35mm is quite wide. Of course landscape and portraits are possible, you can use it to shoot whatever you like.

erm i mean. is it possible to shoot landscape or portraits with extension tube?

Oic.. so i cant use extension tube on 35mm to macro ah?

Please read what extension tubes do to lenses (hint: infinity focus).

Why would you want to?

hmm i mean, i wanted to use a extension tube for macro on 35mm f/1.8g lens is it possible? and is it possible to do normal shooting with extension tube on 35mm? as in im lazy to take it out and put back the 35mm again

ya i know what it does and im just wondering if i can dont take it out and do normal shooting anot

Without infinity focus, I don't see how you could do potrait that easily. I mean it is difficult to find the correct focus point.

Extension tube is more useful for macro work only (I believe). Plus... it wouldn't take much effort removing extension tube from your lens, yes?

oic. i know its not difficult to remove the tube and put back my lens. just find it hmm troublesome as i need to do this most of the time hahaa

Erm.. do you mean you want to attach the lens without tube? (Please avoid Singlish..)
Of course you can do that and shoot whatever you like. Just take note of the specifics of the focal length in terms of perspective.

Then plan your shooting more carefully. Jumping from macro to portrait does not sound like a planned activity, rather like mindless snapping around.

Maybe Dslr is not for you? If you are that adverse to switching lenses, maybe you should switch to a prosumer camera.
