Okay this was probably asked somewhere before already and I know I'm supposed to do up a 'Search' for past similar threads but this is highly urgent! (for my portfolio which is due this wednesday) so pardon my imprudence.

So, does anyone know of where I can go to for cheap prints? The one I went to last time charged me $5/piece for an 8R size! I know Grace Digi Lab charges at $2.50/piece but it's all the way at clementi while I reside in the east so yeah.
I have to print like 20 photos so would total up to quite a considerable amount of cash :/

If all else fails then I've got no other choice but to drag myself all the way to clementi then.

Thanks in advance!

Yes you suppose to do a search,

you ask a question in the middle of the night and you expect an answer immediately, OMG you are so lucky..

here you go, Useful addresses of common photographic equipment/services shops btw, don't call them now, it closed for the day, call tomorrow morning after 11am.

and last thing very important, if this is for portfolio, don't skim on your budget, you only have one chance to impress people, don't screw it up.

Go to peninsula hotel b1, I forget the name of the print shop. It uses Kodak paper. Just beside a guitar shop.

There's an $8 per delivery on Grace Digital Lab online price list. Maybe you can check that out and whether you can mail them a CD or something.

hehehe Clementi very far meh? :) You make it sound like Kuala Lumpur or something.
It's only like...20 or so stops from Tampines. Should take something like 45mins.
I have colleagues who take train from Bt Panjang to Pasir Ris (and back) everyday.

Just note that 8R size (8" x 10") is not in the same aspect ratio an APS-C (or even FF) DSLR.
You'll probably need S8R.

I know but the portfolio has strict requirements so I have solved that by doing the necessary cropping :p

Hello, student on a tight budget here and I know about the first-impression-really-does-count thingy but I have already spent close to, or perhaps even $200 on this portfolio :(

Anyhow, thank you all for providing quick and good advices! Very efficient! :x
Very much appreciated :)
