Canon 450d

Hi all I m using 450d canon now
Jus find that the LCD is so " not that nice" compare to my friends 60d
And after a compare to other friend pns it no that good oso
Thinking upgrade to 600d will it be better?
And if compare 60d and 600d which is better?

different class.

i will prefer the 60D.

but if i am going for the 60D, i would rather invest elsewhere. the 60D has proven quite a flop in many reviews~

may i ask what is better of the lcd?

not bright enough, cannot twist and turn or what?
i'm using a 450d. though it doesnt look as contrasty or as attractive as the guy next door, it doesnt matter cause i'm editing my images and i'm only using it to check sharpness

Is the color from the LCD, not the brightness thing.
Just find that it not as vibrance as other LCD.
Not the turn and twist.

I think most people won't think the LCD is a compelling reason to change DSLR.
which is better?

#1 okay the colours looks a bit dull from the LCD but from experience I know it looks better back on the desktop and I can make it good.
#2 okay the colours looks great but I know it won't look as great back on the desktop.



It is weird to view photos through your camera only. Do you have few photos? or you have a lot of memory cards. Haha.

The 450d has a 230 M-pixel LCD, while the newer bodies has 920 M-Pixel LCDs, that's why the newer bodies looks better, but it doesn't mean that your picture is actually'lousy'.

I think if you are looking for other reasons to replace a body, it would be things like more focusing points, faster focusing speed, faster continuous shots capability for action shots, movie mode that the 450d does not have, or simply you had exploited most features of the body and the camera is limiting what you wanted to do, then these are the 'better' valid reasons to upgrade.
Just my two cents.

Well, you will have plenty of reason to upgrade if you have issues spending $ which all (if not most) CSers will be your friendliest neighbor/friend to help you resolve that problem.

I must be the most stupi person in town changing the cam jus becos of LCD
Must really think abt it.

Then again, I used to own the Canon D60 (not 60D mind you) that had a small, low-res 1.8" LCD that turned everything GREEN.

Of course, if you do upgrade, you'll probably find a lot of other things have improved e.g. I was pleasantly surprised when I used a 550D and found it far more responsive than the 450D -- focusing, review etc.

None of this will really make your photos better, but if they improve your enjoyment in using your camera, go for it
