You can roughly check out the price here and call the shops yourself.

thanks! :)

Well I called TK and over the phone quoted me $350. But I got it yesterday at $330 cash at another shop.

So the other shop izzit still TK?

This is a very good lens. I using for my current trip at Hong Kong for the past 3 days. It's very good for portrait, night landscape even beautiful flowers ( Kowloon Park). The night landscape at the 尖沙咀 is superb. Very clear. It also bring out the beautiful images of flowers.

Lenses only help to achieve certain requirement. It's still depend on the photographer experiences and skill at scenes.

Read up more on white balance, etc

Thanks for the advice! I totally agree! :)

Alan.

I got it for 328 at Alan like 2 weeks ago

btw izzit net price or inclusive of gst?

on a DX body ... which one is more recommended?
1) 35mm f1.8
2) 50mm f1.4G ?

I understand that it all boils down to what you are shooting ... but what if i doesn't want to own too many prime, just one will do ... which one will you guys recommend?

Nevertheless ... i found a good article for comparison.

You can try DD electronics, I bought mine last month for $300 (lens+hoya filter).
