Does this pic give any feeling? Im not talking about the bokeh..
any emotion can be seen in this pic?
and tell me what s wrong in the framing.. I like this pic.. but i feel something wrong in the framing.. i did a slight crop here..

I'm having trouble relating the title and the picture. But title is just one thing. The picture, what do you want to portray, especially you do have to consider that we cant really see the person face.

The bokeh of the background is nice but I think that's about all. However, as they commented above, there is no true meaning. To me the most I can make out of this picture is perhaps this woman is pissed off and doesn't want to talk after a quarrel?

i was thinking the silhouette effect and the shining edge of the face will make a good picture.. as she s looking at the colorful lights, i thought it may give some message..

can't quite see any emotions here, can't even tell if the person is a lady or a long-haired man, I suggest to show the subjects eye a little bit, the eye can tell a lot...

TS, can't really have the feel of 'missing you' from the picture. Suggest you adjust the exposure slightly and next time try take from different perspective. Perhaps take from front capturing the eyes and facial expression.

i think i know why you compose this way and titled it "missing you", but somehow, i think it is too tight a composition that doesn't show a person looking blank because he/she is missing someone/something..

You need to think about silhouette and why you want a silhouette. Silhouette is something many will play with at some stage, but then without a purpose, it is just a shot that just so happens the lighting condition makes the subject silhouetted. And from what you mentioned, to quote you, "i thought it may give some message". If that is what you were thinking, i guess you shouldn't be. You need to have a clear message or at least a story, or something u want to convey with the shot. Many times, expressions is convenient, but sometimes the context as well as the subject may give your story. You can't be thinking "eh i think got story hor, but what ah, aiya shoot first then later find a title that fit my shot". It should be that u thought of the theme or story, ah thats what i wanna convey, shoot.

To add on to what kwttan mentioned, i think the eyes can do a better job at conveying the "missing you" concept. of course there can be other ways to portray this, but the eyes is just one of them.

I think the colour of the lights in the background somehow convey a different message rather than one of 'missing someone', due to the relatively bright and festive feelings that they portray, especially with cny around the corner

hahahaa.. it was not a censord word. But just wanted to mention that it is my mum so that others will not comment anything bad by mistake.. hahahahaa.. and just wanted to say she was not in bd mood when i took this pic also.. lol..
Anyway thank you very much for the detailed message.. i will try to shoot with a message rather than shoot and find the message..
