Haha..my bad is 13.3"

post the full specs of each? :)

too lazy to check in the mac store.

that said, 13" should be lighter, but 15" will provide a better viewing experience, easier to edit photos. also, 13" will take up more space in bags, etc of course.

it depends on how you want to compromise... anyways, both processors will run photoshop fine (most of the time, unless perhaps you do heavy duty panorama editing, i.e. large size files, in which case, nothing beats a desktop's power)... get at least 4gb ram.

If I were you, I'd go for the 15-inch cos of the i5 or i7 processor (instead of core 2 duo in the 13-inch) and the NVIDIA GeForce 330M graphics chip with 256MB or 512MB GDDR3 memory (instead of NVIDIA GeForce 320M chip in the 13-inch that shares the mac's RAM). The screen resolution is better too (1440x900 instead of 1280x800). Of course, it weighs and costs more.

The 15" macbook pro applecare costs $548 and 13" macbook pro applecare costs $388.
Check out epicentre, they have some promo now, 15" macbook pro applecare costs $299 and 13" macbook pro applecare costs $228 with free gifts. Also can pay by 24 months installment.

2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x2GB
250GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm
Backlit Keyboard (Int'l English) & User’s Guide (English)
SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
2x USB 2.0 Port

2.4 GHz Intel Core i5
4-GB Memory
320-GB hard drive
SD card slot*
Built-in battery (8-9 hour)
Intel HD Graphics*
NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M with 256 MB

I think the spec should have sold you already.
Even came with a built-in SD card reader so it's one less equipement to lose in the field.
While you are at it, either upgrade the ram yourself or pay Apple an orange to upgrade to 8GB.
Photoshop likes RAM for breakfast, lunch and dinner... for nightsnack it likes HDD.

if I hardly do video editing mainly photo, 13.3" 2.4GHz will be enough? Can I said tat? Am fine with the price of both, I need something tat is for long run. Something tat is smooth in editing not sitting there to wait for the whole picture to process.. to load..

To complicate things, I would recommend Dell XPS Studio 15 with i7-740 processor with 8GB RAM. I'm enjoying the laptop, especially the built-in speakers which are really good. It's also cheaper but then again, design-wise cannot fight MacBook..

The 13-inch MacBook Pro has a built-in SD card reader as well. It's the MacBook that lacks the card reader.

imho, the only major differences between the 2 is size, weight, power. price aside in this way

rest depends on ur preference, if u are not bring it out a lot, the 15" is definitely better

i also don't know why people want to choose macbook sometimes, looking at specs...

mac is reverse... focus on design first then improve the specs later... while others always comes with killer specs first then improve on design later... :bsmilie:

for old users like me who did the swtich when windows OS was still crappy sometimes no choice, all my apps are mac version... so when my mac dies, i either continue with a mac or buy all my apps in window version...

for new users... i would say there are better(speed) laptops out there...
