New Nikon D 7000 or an used Nikon D 300 ?

Which one is a better choice-- A used Nikon D 300 in top condition or a New Nikon D 7000 body, please give your suggestions as I have to buy soon

Do u have a budget? The price is a few hundred diff, big enough for u to get a better lens.

Do u need the high ISO capability of the D7000?

Do u like the feel of the camera? Have u tried the 2 cameras to see how they handle?

If u are thinking which can take a 'better' pics, u will find that YOU are the one, not the camera.

brand new d7000 if u r willing to spend more

a 2nd hand d300 from the bns if ur pocket doesnt allows u to buy the d7000.

well i remember TS posting in the canon sub forum saying his/her fren's d300 has great IQ compared to his/her 1000d.

judging by this post, i believe he/she decides to switch camp. gave him/her advice back there but i wonder if he/she did heed them :sweat:

get a d7k .. i rent one yst and was pretty impress with it
a fast lens like the 17-35/55 will make a very sweet combo since i assume u have nothing right now

get 2 x 16gb card with battery grip + xtra battery

it's true that d300 and d7000 are indeed irresistible.

well $$ is all tat matters. the TS is neither right nor wrong. juz tat i felt upgrading due to IQ but only within the cropped bodies range is kinda a weak reason. if it's like jumping to full frame, then i'll definitely give my support lol. but to a higher end cropped body... :sweat: 1000d isnt that "old" either
