1. What area is critique to be sought?
Composure, exposure, etc...

2. What one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
When I saw this snake (python) escaping from the basket it was kept in, thus captured the scene.
Some children/ladies standing nearby were screaming and shouting with excitement. Snake is s creature that most people are quite frighten of.

3. Under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
Photo taken during visit to Sentosa Underwaterworld. This Indian man was doing business by charging visitors for taking photos with the snakes he has (1 yellow and 1 black/grey pythons). The man was busy attending to customer with his black/grey python, he left the yellow python in the basket, somehow it escaped from the basket. Time is 3pm and under shelter.

Shooting Mode : Aperture Priority
Shutter Speed : 1/200
Aperture : f4
ISO : 200
Focal Length : 112mm

4. What the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture
There are some distracting objects at the background. I missed the chance to shoot front view of the snake showing both eyes and snake tongue sticking out, as I am quite wary the snake might suddenly strike at me.

Composure and exposure look ok to me. IMO, if TS can shoot the snake at another perspective showing both eyes and tongue sticking out and head pops out of the basket rim perhaps will look better.
The snake looks sharp, if enlarge does look scary to those who are afraid of snake.
On closer look at the snake eye, is it a reflection of the photographer??

nice shot there, but i think kwttan mention abt snake popping up pf basket will be better - which i agree.

Thanks kwttan and quizesilver for the comments.

In fact, I did take the picture of the snake at the rim of the basket, however the picture is oof and snake is soft.
Anyway, I attached the picture here.
