whole Singapore D7000 out of stock?

Hi, i am new to this forum, and i had been hunting for D7000 since last week.. till today 7/12/2010, there isn't any stock for D7000. Anyone out there know when is the stock coming in? Or anywhere out there where they still have stock left? Seem like is all sold out ...
Pls help.

If you wanted to buy from Harvey Norman, you should buy during last Sitex.
They were selling the package with lot of freebies.

They are selling the kit at $2288 I think, but with far less freebies than during SITEX, as what jeff7id mentioned.

Just came back from iphoto. Think they have 2-3 more, selling out fast though, when i was there 3 came in and paid cash.

Hi, I understand your frustration. I too have been looking for this camera since it was first announced, and I finally picked one up in KL (Berjaya Times Square) during a trip there last week. Its selling fast there but stocks are readily available. Paid ~S$1950 with kit lens, 8Gb card and a Nikon bag, which is about all I need. Still, the teething problem with the first batch - hot pixels, soft focus - are still there and can be quite annoying. Perhaps if you can afford to wait, the second batch might correct these issues.

Just got the body from iphoto. Still have quite a number of boxes when I was there. Didn't see any hot pixel on the cam.

There's no update at the moment dude.

Check Dpreview (as they'll catch the news fast once it's available) often.

don't think the firmware update is out yet. But according to kelvin from iphoto, this is 2nd batch of shipment. And did all the test for hotpixels as seen on CS, cant find any hot pixels yet. Maybe my eyesight not good, but ignorance is bliss

hi: yes, i got my D7000 today 11/12/2010, and yes from iphoto..and i think there are few more left. so if anyone who are interested in getting had to move fast. ... will start playing with it tomorrow. I had try a few shot at home and in the shop, can't really see the hot pixel problem...hmmm

I help my friend get a set of this D7000. 3 hot pixel, well I think is decent number so go ahead with the purchase. Just shoot raw, and will auto be filtered off.
