If you have any suggestion of any other lenses a 1.4 maybe with in the same range of price.

Thanks

Using DX format?

Sigma 30mm f1.4 is nice and sharp. Anyway, do check the forum's member-contributed price lists...

btw it's a lens, not a lense.

Spelling it correctly helps tremendously when entering text into search boxes...

daredevil123 has already provided the link to the Nikon Price Guide.

And just to add, it is either NIKON or NIKKOR. There is no NIKKON

Check CS price guide for the cheapest one, send an enquiry email to chosen shop (or more shops to compare) for the price of the lens, then print out their reply before you go to the shop.

When you go to the shop, the seller might quote you higher if they see that you're not an experienced buyer. So if they quote you higher, you can show the email quote.

I just bought the 35mm f/1.8G at Challenger, Funan (Level 2) for $325. Excited to go snapping tomorrow :D
