Agreed, quite awful...
Any sign of disrespect for wearing Singapore flag printed swimming trunk? :think:
aside from the issue of whether its showing dis-respect for the national flag....i find the design not nice...
This is an insult to our nations, they should have asked MICA permision because it's stated the rule clearly

anyways. i find the design lacking in taste.

Come on....It was just a bad design...don't like it....discontinued it lor....no need to make a hoo haa....the SEA king loose until so jialat in Asiad no one console, and still kena huntam for a badly design swimming trunk :sweat:
The designer prob trying to be creative....enlarging Sg flag (a fan or macros
)....unfortunately the garment is too little and people felt funny....I bet if the same design applied onto female swimming suit it might get differrent feedback :sweat:
On second look....Turkey flag also very similar...minus a few of the stars

I wouldn't mind if this design was worn as a headgear for the boys, with our Nation always in their heads, but as a piece of trunks? Anyway, they are playing in the water most of the time. Who will get to see their trunks besides themselves and their opponents?

i mean if the crescent moon is shifted more to the side, it's look fine
but that darn crescent moon is right in the middle of the trunk,
