1. in what area is critique to be sought?
Exposure and lightings

2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
trying to capture the truth moment when kids are playing, this is one of th 500 pictures which i think its the most natural

3. under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
morning around 10+ at the zoo water theme park

4. what the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture
i think its nice to capture the boy looking at the camera while the gers looking at him

thanks everyone!

Not a bad pic. I kind of like it.

Would be nicer if you go for a 16:9 crop and crop out some of the empty space above and a little below.

It's a nice moment you captured. just about the right timing :)
I'm trying to visualize (in my head) if adding some vignetting or soft-focus would help to direct attention to the boy's expression. Worth a try, just as an experiment.
I think DD123 is on to something with regards to a tighter crop.
Because you presented quite a small image, it doesn't quite grab the attention as well. Do try to crop off some unwanted space in order to have your subject take up more of the frame.

Exposure is quite all right.

thanks everyone

I think it's a great capture of the moment and perhaps a bit of cropping would do the trick :D

thanks everyone

Actually you should not have shaved off the space left of the boy. And you can shave off more from the top of the 3 kids... try a real 16:9 ratio.

a fun moment. prefer more space on the RIGHT, actually, for balancing purposes. and 16:9 would work well here with a shorter focal length used in the first place.
