Guys:
I have a the LX5 and video shot some footage of the kid's birthday party.
Questions:
1. Where do I locate them in the SD card because the DCIM/100_PANA folder only has the still photoshots. Previously with Sony, all captured files are recorded to 1 location. You can tell if it's a JPEG file or MOV file easily.
2. There is another folder marked PRIVATE>AVCHD>BVDM...but there are various extensions which cannot be ready upon clicking and I cannot locate the videos I took last night. Can someone help with the location of the videos recorded (default setting)?
3. Assuming the extensions are valid MTS, BDM, CPI etc, how do I get them into a format that can play on the laptop easily? I didnt recall the need for a conversion with Sony.
Thank you.

Private>avchd>bdmv>stream

I think you got the location of your files already :)

To play on your laptop, I think, you need VLC player for me, its been the best to play any sort of files I throw at it.
