Nice meeting many new faces. New and old alike and much fun too.

K5, to me a a poison. Its solid built and I tested the A50 f1.2 and with the thin dof, that combination is a killer but in Manual focus. Just love the feels.

Its very different from Kx or Kr altogether. So waiting for next shipment

Went to follow my friend to SLRR to get his K-R. When we were walking back to city hall mrt, saw a huge group of people wearing red outside starbucks. Then realised it was you guys. Hahahahha!

hi,

I was dragged away by my son because he wanted to see the out door performance.

This has been the worst organized outing so far :embrass: We didn't even have a full group shot :cry:

Oh well, at least some guys had quite some fun there

Pentax K5 DA15Ltd HDR2

I am just so impressed with the K5. The ISO80 is 'noiseless' even when I looked at the dark areas at 100% (ok, exaggeration, but really really low low noise). Even if I experimented with sharpening which would have popped noise artifacts on the K7, the images on K5 is still so clean.

Anyway, the HDR implementation is good. Previously, for this type of shot, I would have needed to use a black card to block off the Jellyfish for a period of the exposure, but now... whalla!
