Not trying to be rude here, but i think i just save ya money lah since u, yourself dont know what u need...

but on another note, for pricing and which shop theres a pricelist u can refer to, scroll down a bit and u will see it,

1. Tripod ( manfrotto, weifeng, gitzo, etc) take ya pick
2. Circular Polariser(cant advise never bother abt cpl before)
3. Battery Grip (do u really need it????)
4. Flash ( Including Flash Diffusers)(go for 580exII and be done with)

personally, if u take landscapes, go for the tripod if not get the flash instead....

even better keep shooting until u realize what it is that is lacking... cheers mate...

k now i know,

as for tripod, i suggest u look at sirui too, value for money there,

abt the battery grip, if using it for trip, might as well u just get spare batts, lighter, as its not hard to change batt, unless u find that u shoot more in portrait orientation or u need it to balance out heavier lenses , than by all means get it,

lastly,di622 is a good third-party flash as far as i know, if money permits, get the 430exII might be better, shld ask a canon user, as im not actually..

have fun getting the items than...

Thanks Buddy...

1. Tripod is must have. If you have a tight budget look at Sirui and Benro for very good value.
2. CPL is not used as much as you think. I use it around 10% of the time. Hoya pro1D, Kenko Pro1D or B+W MRC are all good.
3. If you go for long trips, all the more you should avoid battery grip, it just adds unnecessary weight. Just have 2 additional batteries and leave them in your pocket. It takes less than 5 seconds to swap a battery out. Having a battery grip will only weigh you down, and also attract unwanted attention to yourself (attract thieves and robbers).
4. Get at least a Nissin 866. or just get the best canon flash like what akerue said.

It depends on what type of photography you would like to 'focus' on. For example, a flash is clearly not needed for landscape for photography. But, accessories like tripod is good to have for nearly all form of photography.

Perhaps you can share with us your budget too?

All the items you listed are really different but necessary things, if you shoot more of events and find that the build in flash does not satisfy your needs, then go ahead and get a flash. If you like to shoot landscape then you can get the tripod. Battery grip and filter perhaps can leave till later until you realize that you have a specific need for it.

An important point would be your budget, there are many models of flash and tripods out there so take your pick according to how much you can spend ;)
