Hi all,

I'm new here. Just brought a Canon 550D about 1 mth ago. Have been reading up on guides on stuff here & there, and the content here is very helpful & localised. For the moment, I'm interested in architecture, scenery & portrait photography. Looking to join some photoshoot outings & pick up advice from the vets here.

My current gear: Kit EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS ; EF-S55-250mm f4-5.6 IS

Hi and welcome...
take the time to familiarize yourself with operating all/most of the controls on your camera, and also brush up on your fundamentals of photography if you haven't already done so.

Lots of articles and guides on basic photography all around, both on clubsnap and all across the internet.

For the moment, a few of us (sunchasers) are settling down from been really busy. Do look out for architectural shoot one of us will be organising as we will be picking it up from our "master" since he is infinitely busy atm.
