Channel 5 show, what happened ah?

supposed to be showing 'I am Legend', so how come change to 'I, Robot'?

did i miss something??


i rushed back just to catch 'I am Legend' and was shocked to see that they are airing 'I, Robot'.


they advertise wrongly all this while??? :dunno: ? ? ? ? ?

No, it was because of the passing of Mrs LKY. They had a scrolling text overlay when showing I,Robot stating that.

Probably too caught up with KWC's memorial programs and all starts to screw up.

I find it extremely baffling over the hype over her dismised despite her non involvement in politics. She somehow been portrayed by the media as on par with a statesmen. Am I missing something somewhere ?

oh... i tot wat happened. i watched 'i, robot' before so when i realised it was 'i, robot' after a short while, i switched to channel u, so din't see the text that flashed across, explaining y they are showing this show instead of 'i am legend'.


i tot they aired the wrong ads all this time!

Exactly! My deepest respects to the late Mdm LKY, but I don't understand the reasoning behind this.

She would've preferred solidarity in thought, instead of this weak, feeble, poorly thought through display of supposed respect.

really inappropriate to show a celebratory program on channel 8 if their intention is to show respect to the late mrs.lee.

i can understand tat 'I am Legend', a zombie and 'walking-dead' movie, might not be that appropriate a show to air given the current sad situation/scenario.

I think mediacorp is more worried about the shows fitting their schedule than about respect issues. The main reason for them to change the show should be because of the movie length rather than the theme.

think i'd just go n get a DVD of 'I am Legend' instead of waiting for channel 5 to air it again. cannot imagine they decide to once again show 'i, robot' to pwn me once more! :bsmilie:
